SAP Assessments & EPC Certificates

Every new build dwelling in the UK must have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), this important documentation is a legal requirement and is achieved by qualified assessors who complete a Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) using specialist software.

ICMI Associates are an approved On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA) organisation, meaning that we can provide Design Stage and As Built SAP Assessments for your new build residential projects.

In addition to new build SAP Assessments, we can also provide a SAP Assessment and EPC certificate for residential extensions which may be a requirement depending on the design of your home extension project.

We believe that its extremely important that a SAP Assessment takes into account the needs of architects, developers and the end user. It is essential that your SAP Assessor takes the adequate amount of time to thoroughly complete your assessment.  An ICMI SAP Assessor will aim to achieve value for money for all stakeholders, a fast and unconsidered assessment can achieve compliance, but that approach can result in an expensive built cost for the client.
